RESUMO

The purpose of this thesis is to propose a methodology for the delimitation of fish farms in tanks. The proposed methodology was applied in the reservoir of Nova Ponte - MG, with the cultivation in net cages of the Red-tailed Lambari (Astyanax fasciatus), Piracanjuba (Brycon orbygnianus) and Tilapia (Tilapia sp.) species, using GIS. It was surveyed the factors of the dam considered restrictive: depth, water abstraction, domestic and industrial pollution, agroforestry areas, reserve areas, resorts and leisure tourism, local fishing, shipping lanes, historic and cultural heritage, mining rights, restrictions in the master plans, wave formations, erosion and spatialized processes using the Boolean logic. It was chosen an arm of the reservoir areas with no restrictions and proceeded to the survey of qualitative parameters: temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, chlorophyll a, phosphorus (total phosphorus), nitrate and total solids. For the data that had the vertical profiles, it was adopted the values of the readings taken at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.5 m of depth. For data with spatial dependence, it was used the universal or ordinary kriging, and for the remainder, it was used the IDW or radial basis function (spline). On the integration of data layers it was used the map algebra to the restrictive parameters and for the fuzzy logic and multi-criteria analysis with the Weighted Linear Combination (MCE-WLC), with the weights measured by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for qualitative parameters. Only with the integration of the restricting factors there was a reduction of 24.75% of the reservoir area, which was considered suitable and should be analyzed using the qualitative factors. In the chosen arm, the variability of all the qualitative factors for the four depths was within the limits of comfort for the three species, and 25.34% of the arm was classified as appropriate.
