RESUMO
The purpose of this work is to present a mathematical model which interprets the scattering caused by pluviometric precipitation in tropospheric propagation. Concerning pratical applications, our main interest was to analyze the interference between a satellite system Earth station and a terrestrial cell whose diameter depends upon local and punctual precipitation intensity is the geometric basis for the model. Model use is relatively easy, and comparisons with experimental data have shown satisfatory results.
