Depending on the themes addressed, the theoretical reference addresses issues relating to the third sector, social technology and knowledge management. The research method adopted was the qualitative, and the case study strategy was used to achieve the objectives of the research. Data were collected through documentary research and semi-structured individual interview. The analyses focused on the verification of the existence of an appropriate context for organizational knowledge-creation, focusing on the knowledge-creation defined by Nonaka and Takeuchi (1997): intention, autonomy, fluctuation and creative chaos, redundancy and requisite variety. It was identified the intention of the organization to promote a more participatory context and a greater openness to environment. There were perceived changes in the organization, specifically the resources capture and the profile of the courses offered, with a more enterprising character. Even so, although there is a purpose to promote a more shared management, it was noted the existence of centralization and proposition of goals, still concentrated in the direction of the institution. However, it was possible to identify that within the units of the organization there is a favourable environment for knowledge- creation and sharing, especially with regard to organizational intent, autonomy and also the commitment of its members
