RESUMO

This paper is a situation research, of a qualitative approach and exploratory character, about a public statue school of basic education, in Palmas TO, integrated into a digital inclusion project. Pretended to discus the presence of a library, your duty and the pedagogic place in the school and, in the other hand, the information technologies and communication (TIC) as components elements on the research space. Restricted to the realization of this research the following problem: In what measure the presence, the performance role, and the place of the library, and for the TIC s contribution, in the investigated case, for the development of the pedagogic work and conduct relatively to the educational process as all? For this, has done documental analysis, direct observations and interviews with the schools authors. Has been verified, in others aspects, a segmented school, in front of the fascinated using of TIC inside the classroom, inferiorazing the library, empting out of its functions and importance. It has been also verified the simplified use of TIC, besides its disintegration in front the other segments of the school. About the library, hasnt been integrated suitable to the pedagogic project and its maintain isolated to the planning, execution and avaliation of the résumé. Concluded that that conception segmented gets hardy the implementation of the TIC to the educational process and minimize the relevant role that the library should perform. Besides that, stays in this school the conduct of transfer content to the students, instead of to give the to the same responsibilities for their own production or construction of the knowledge about the subject of the own knowledge.
