¿ Cómo responden los estudios de bibliotecología de las universidades españolas a las nuevas demandas sociales?

RESUMO
This study has been carried out through multiple statistical techniques, considering both the subjects which are part of librarianship studies in different Spanish universities and the offers of job or the professional characteristics needed for this type of professionals. The methodology utilized is the multivariable analysis which consists of statistical methods and techniques that allow to study and consider a set of variables noted in a data collection. Using this type of indicators, it is possible to carry out a detailed study of all subjects offered by the Spanish Librarianship Faculties and its linking to different areas of knowledge. As a result, an analysis of all existing interdisciplinary subjects in this study has been possible, the results of which proves to be quite high, having no equivalent presence of librarianship knowledge in other disciplines. One of the results of this study is the graphic representation of the different universities of how close or far they are with reference to the education they offer to students in the light of the existing social demands.
