Codepositos de ZnCo : estudo do processo de sua eletrodeposição por corrente pulsada

RESUMO
Zinc alloys have been studied as possible substitutes for zinc as corrosion resistant coating. One of the these alloys, the ZnCo is well considered in the European automotive industry and more recently in the American one. ln the present work the zinc anomalous deposition in the ZnCo alloy is investigated and deposits was obtained by pulsed current in chloride salts bath. It was analyzed the effect of the deposition parameters on the morphology and on the corrosion resistance of the obtained deposits. The results were compared with the ones of the deposits obtained by continuous current. ln pulsed current plating the cobalt content of the deposits is constant for hide range of applied current densities, this allows the alloy deposition over complex geometries substrates
