RESUMO
The present dissertation, developed in the Master of Fine Arts Program, School of Fine Arts, of the Federal University of Bahia, in the discipline of Creative Processes, approaches aspects related to the utilization of the traditional graphics techniques in the urban art, as well as the medium techniques and operations for the application in the urban space, which is considered Urban Print. They are then selected and subsequently applied to the space previously mapped in the city, giving new meaning to them as visual documents, that are going to be commented and sometimes are going to denounce aspects of violence in the city and its unfolding. The investigation of the urban space with the Urban Prints already included in the public space is concerned with developing a methodology and create a poetic, based on graphs and conceptual aspects from the formatted principles for the construction of the work of art, informed, primarily, by concepts of Gilles Deleuzes e Félix Guattari, but supported by Gastón Bachelard e Merleau-Ponty.
