RESUMO
In this work, dental commercial ceramics the base of ZrO2 stabilized with yttrium had been sintering and characterized how much to its physical and mechanical properties. The nanostructuralized commercial blocks (ProtMat) had been sintering in different temperatures, 13000C and 14000C, and the microstructuralized ones (IVOCLAR and ZIRCONZHAN and ProtMat) had been sintering in the temperatures indicated for the manufacturers, 1500C, 1530C and 1600C, respectively. As much the nanostructuralized and microstructuralized blocks had been characterized in respect the crystalline densificação, phases and microstructure. The mechanical properties of hardness, tenacity to the breaking and resistance the flexão in 4 points had been determined and the comparative results. The nanostructuralized samples sintering 14000C had presented better resulted, with relative density around 99.6% of the theoretical density, with majoritária tetragonal phase, hardness around 1315HV, tenacity the breaking of 11MPam1/2, resistance the breaking of 1,0GPa and module of Weibull around 13. The nanostructuralized samples sintering 1300C had presented hardness of 1230HV, tenacity the breaking of 8,2MPa.m1/2 and resistance the average breaking of 814MPa and module of Weibull around 8, results these next ones to the gotten ones for the microstructuralized samples sintering the superior temperatures. The microstructuralized commercial samples of the IVOCLAR had presented hardness of 1325HV, tenacity the breaking of 9,1MPa.m1/2 and resistance the average breaking of 870MPa and module of Weibull around 10. Microstructuralized samples ZIRCONZHAN had presented hardness of 1310HV, tenacity the breaking of 9,0MPam1/2 and resistance the average breaking of 845MPa and module of Weibull around the 10 and microstructuralized samples of the ProtMat had presented hardness of 1300HV, tenacity the breaking of 8,9MPam1/2 and resistance the average breaking of 855MPa and module of Weibull around 10. A statistical treatment of the data was carried through so that they could be compared.
