RESUMO
A simple method for capsular serotype determination of Klebsiella is described, using staphylococci or latex particles coated by specific antibodies and the supernatant of a bacterial suspension in saline as antigen. These methods may be at least as reliable as other methods and easier to perform and less expensive than other methods.
