RESUMO
Taking into consideration the crucial role played by communication in organizations, the use of new technologies and strategies is been the objective of lots of companies, which aim to achieve, effectively, their internal and external publics. Among all tools currently available, there are the corporate blogs that, as blogs in general, are frequently modified web pages in which dated entries are listed in reverse chronological sequence. As a primary study, it was investigated how corporate blogs has been used by companies selected from the magazine Exame Melhores e Maiores 2007. In this study, was worth being highlighted the Blog Consultoria, maintained by Natura and identified as the greatest success among the companies analyzed. So the present research aims at the accomplishment of a case study about Naturas Blog Consultoria, by comprehending how the blog participates in the development of a relationship between the company and its consultants and what the blog users perception about the tool is. Natura, the leading company in the cosmetics sector, adopt the direct selling system to commerce its goods through consultants. Thirteen consultants answered a survey on their perception about the blog and, on the other hand, Natura answered about the webpage itself. The blogs content, published from May 5th to October 15th 2008, was studied according to its category and the number of comments posted. Taking for granted that the relationship between the company and its consultants is one of the aspects included in Naturas Development Plan in Brazil and analizing all data collected, it is possible to conclude that Blog Consultoria contributes to the organizational strategy and its part of a range of tools and actions which complements one another, makes the consultory work viable and approximates Natura to its audience.
