RESUMO

This work has intend to do an evaluation of Medicals Ethic teaching in the medical schools in Salvador-Bahia-Brasil, and suggesting contributive elements for the Medicine humanization, through the analyzes of the alterations that had be introduced in the curriculum and in the methodological approach. The justification for the theme is consequent of the contemporary society that claims for the humanization of medical and medicine. The scientific technological evolution produced amount of exams and procedures, giving a new direction to scientific contemporary occidental medicine keeping away the medical from the art of the cure. This model doesn?t have to evolve for the keep away of the relationship between medical and patients, but be a diagnostic and therapeutic assistance. The bibliographical research was carrying by the utilization of textual books and published articles in indexed journals, which produced the theoretical reference. This material has been divided in five chapters. In the first one was approached by the conceptualization of expressions used in the area like: ethic, moral, deontology, dutys and medical ethic. The second was dedicated to Bioethics, with the contextualization, the historic, principles and tendencies. The third chapter approached the ethics codes and the medical ethics codes. The fourth was dedicated to the teaching, brazilin teaching at the time of creation of medical schools and medical teaching, with the mains curriculums reforms. The fifth chapter, was dedicated to the teaching of Medical Ethics, inquiring how, why, when and who must teach and evaluate. Was yet did a documental research and a survey through quantitative analyses, using questionnaires for the students and a qualitative estimate, through by interview for the lecturers. This work was concluded with the understanding that much has to be transformed in order to the teaching will be effective in the communication of values.
