RESUMO

The decision taking in multidivisional organization structures makes an apropriated scenario to the use of metodologies of parallelized mathematical programming. Because the characteristics of certain structures of block-angular models with a large number of variables and constraints, its possible to handle them using parallel processing algorithms. The monography, which was made at end of graduation, talks about a modeling for the same goals but with only one retailer. In this work, it proposed an innovation expanding the model to k-retailers, it means: the solution of a problem of pricing of electricity conserning many independent retailers, which use many generation plants to reach the total ammount of electricity which is managed by the regulatory agency. Here, It showed a model inside a diagonal block structure of independent constraints and the where each retailer is represented by constraints of states between retailers, where the Dantzing-Wolfe decomposition algorithm can be used to find optimal solution to the model, which will be used to indicate the shadow-prices of buying and selling of electricity for each retailer within the electricity management system.
