Avaliação da resposta sorológica de suínos SPF inoculados com Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae

RESUMO

Three specific pathogen free (SPF) groups of pigs were inoculated with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae intratracheally (group A) and three other ones with Mycoplasma flocculare intranasally (group B). Five SPF pigs of each group were exposed by contact with the inoculated pigs. A group of eight pigs were kept as control (group C), below the same others groups pigs conditions. Sera samples were collect from all three group before and weekly atter inoculation. These sera samples were used as standard positive será anti-Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, standard positive sera anti-Mycoplasma flocculare and standard negative sera, to evaluate a commercial diagnose kit mycoplasmal pneumonia of swine (MPS) and antigens produced for complement fixation test and enzymelinked immunosorbent assay. The kit tested showed low sensitivity (31%) to detect antibody in the group A. On the other, hand, the kit showed 100% of espeeiticity with regard to M. flocculare. The methods used to produce antigens were inefficient.
