RESUMO

This work intent to do a diagnostic of noise pollution from traffic in a urban park area. Computer simulation and mitigation, considering point and linear noise sources, and design of noise barriers where feasibly needed, and other mitigation devices existing on the technical references. Developing a GIS will help to visualize the study area and understanding of the efficacy of the recommended actions and if the standards are met at several land use activities through all the study area. This will allow noise impact evaluation and the validity of the proposed mitigation measures.
