RESUMO
Performances analysis of soccer player involves aspects physical, technical and tactical. Assess the tactical behavior is a major challenge in the sport because of the quantity and complexity of variables presents in the competition. Besides considering the physical and technical capacity, both from opponents, as of the colleagues, the psychological aspect and behavior of the coach have a crucial role in decisions that the athlete takes over the game. The objective was to identify whether there is any relationship between the coaching styles of leadership and decision-making profile of soccer players, and check the influence of each style of leadership decisions on the profile of the athlete. The study was conducted with participants of the XI Championship of Soccer Professional of the Second Division of Brasília in 2007. The athletes responded to Revised Leadership Scale for Sport (RLSS), version perception of the athlete on the coach, the Questionnaire of Decision-Making Style in the Sport (CETD) and a version of this, plus a hypothetical situation of the game. For this was necessary to conduct an Exploratory Factor Analysis for the CETD in the Brazilian reality.
