RESUMO

This paper aims at analyzing the practical and legal aspects of evidences obtained in instruction hearings of individual disputes under the jurisdiction of labor law The theme deserves attention for the evidence gathered from the hearings, usually represented by the testimony of claimers and of witnesses, is valued by labor judges because such evidences are efficient references for their ruling. It allows, beyond reasonable doubt, the ruling of the judge to reflect the truth of controversial facts. The paper is based on doctrine and jurisprudence by the Brazilian Supreme Labor Court and we tried to put together relevant information so that this paper can be viewed as a reference.
