The goal of this research is to analyze, from the point of view of rhetoric, manifestations of fear generated by violence manifestations in school relations, in an unity of the public net of teaching of São Paulo state. The corpus was collected in 2005, in Franco da Rocha municipality, in Greater São Paulo. The theoretical references includes scholars and experts in rhetoric and discourse, with focus on argumentation
