RESUMO

Tens of education art workshops were accomplished last sixteen years, by a group of educators in Campo Grande, south of Mato Grosso, next to teenagers in a difficult social position or in law conflicts. This systematics practice needed a theorical evaluation to assure the execution. The present work has like purpose to offer a reflection about the educational impact of two education art workshops for teenagers that accomplish educative social mesure of internation, because of they commited serious infraction acts, according to foresces the children and adolescents statute. The theatre workshop happened on the first semester in 1993, in unit of internation on Bandeirantes Avenue. A group about twenty students participated during five months and staged a play that was represented in Aracy Balabanian theatre and in the unit of internation, with large repercusion in the local media. The second, plastic art workshop, happened in the unit on Los Angeles district on the second semester in 1994. About twenty adolescents participated of workshops and showed their works, in José Octávio Guizzo Cultural Center and in the own unit, with large cover by the local media. The experiences are critically evaluated based on a conception cultural social taking for granted the adolescents condition in law conflicts like a result of historical building and not like an individual practice. The function of the art on these adolescents education, in this prospect, is to join the student that participates from workshops to community, providing his socialization. This research intends identify which are the contributions of education art in educative social process of adolescents that are in freedom private because of they had law conflicts.
