RESUMO

The increase of long distance education acceptance has provoked tension between different Brazilian education paradigms. Authors as Behrens (1996, 1999 e 2000), Maseto (1998) Moran (2000) e Torres (2004) has proposed cooperative learning has the way to surpass problems unsolved by the dominant paradigm on the Brazilian education. Information and Communication Technologies have increase conflict between the different paradigms that can be observed on the usual educational activities Lèvy (1999). This research analyze pupils and professors perceptions above five different PUCWEB courses, detecting cooperative strategies under Johnson and Johnson (1999) and Slavin (1995) opinion. In the virtual environment of Eureka learning of the PUCPR it can be possible to observe vast field to apply cooperative pedagogy not explored by the absence of cooperative pedagogy project, by the neither teacher inexperience nor teachers unknown the cooperative tools nor concerned to use this strategy. This research want to investigate the effects of cooperative learning strategy on the five courses studied and respond the answer the question How different pedagogic activities used on the long-distance courses by the Eureka can be influence by the learning process on the teachers and students point of view? The body of analyzed data involved 41 pupils and 36 professors in five different courses searched during period of March 2005 until April 2006. Gotten results point with respect to the possibility of improvements in the process of teach-learning and the necessity of to study cooperative strategies deeper in to long-distance environments.
