RESUMO

This work fulfills the study of a single-phase full bridge converter, including operating principles and relevant expressions for the design of a prototype. In order to obtain nearly sinusoidal output voltage with reduced total harmonic distortion, a modified modulation technique is applied to the converter. Three possible configurations operating at high frequency are associated with an active commutation cell, so that switching losses are minimized and high efficiency is achieved.
