RESUMO

The transient flow of fluids in linear homogeneous solution gas-drive reservoirs is studied in this work. Gravity andcapillary effects are assumed negligible. Wellbore storage and damage are not considered and water phase is assumed to be incompressible and immobile. In particular, theoretical support is provided for Well Test Analysis of hydraulic vertically-fractured wells of high conductivity during the linear formation flow period, for solution gas drive reservoirs. Analysis is performed by means of a transform, equivalent to Boltzman Transform, which is obtained when solving the single phase transient flow problem with the method of Self-Similar Solutions. This transform allows us to obtain an equation to compute saturation as a function of pressure and therefore to define a pseudo-pressure function. The use of pseudo-pressure in the multiphase flow equations lead, under certain conditions, to linearized forms equivalent to the single phase flow equations. It was found, by numerical computations that the pseudo-pressure solution for linear~ solution gas drive reservoirs correlates with the standard liquid solution for both drawdown and buildup periods. Conditions under which such solutions apply are analized.
