RESUMO

The development of the equations of motion for flexible blades coupled to rotating machines is presented in this work. These equations are discretized using the Finite Element Method, with a three-dimensional approach. It was firstly developed a computer program using the MATLAB language in order to study the natural frequencies variation in blades with simple geometric shapes, as a function of the angular velocity. Afterwards, this computer program was employed to perform the dynamic analysis of blades of a industrial compressor. The blade numerical model was updated with experimental measurements of its natural frequencies for three different conditions : free-free, mounted on the compressor and clamped in a structure. From numerical simulations and Campbell diagrams of the blades, the critical speeds of the compressor are estimated in two different conditions : normal operation and during its start-up velocity curve
