AnÃlise histoquÃmica e morfomÃtrica do estroma e das glÃndulas endometrias de ratas tratatas com dexametasona

RESUMO

During the menstruation it can have passage, through the uterine tuba, of endometrial viable material, which would have implantation capacity and, consequently, originate a clinical denominated situation endometriosis. Studies have been demonstrating that the glucocorticoids, among which the dexamethasone, inhibit the growth in a general way and its effects can be observed in the reproductive functions, for blocking several answers induced by the estrogens in the uterus of female rats. Therefore, the present research had the purpose to analyze morphologically and morphometrically the sites of endometrial implants on the external area of the musculature of the anterior abdominal wall of female rats, treated with dexamethasone (0.8 mg/Kg/day). For so, this 40 albino female rats were used (Rattus norvegicus albinus), of the lineage Wistar with 90 days of age, weighing 150g approximately, which they were submitted to the induction of the endometriosis, through the technique described for Vernon and Wilson (1985) and divided in the following groups: Group I - induced female rats to endometriosis and evaluated after 34 days (control I); Group II - induced female rats to endometriosis and evaluated after 47 days (control II); Group III - induced female rats to endometriosis and after 21 days, treated with dexamethasone by 13 days with scarification one day after treatment ; Group IV - induced female rats to endometriosis, and after 21 days, treated with dexamethasone by 13 days and the animal went sacrificed 13 days after. Our results showed that the dexamethasone administrated for the groups III and IV was able to promote the reduction of the endometrial implants in female rats and too of the stromal collagen density; besides propitiated considerable decrease in the areas occupied by the glands
