RESUMO

The experiment was accomplished aiming to determinate maximum and economical dry matter yield of rude protein levels, neutral detergent fiber of black oat (Avena strigosa Shreb) forage related with irrigation depth of water and nitrogen doses. Irrigation was done by a line source system. It was used a randomized complete block design for the irrigation variable, with the factor nitrogen a split plot on irrigation, and five replication. The eight irrigation levels applied were: 1.3, 107.1, 135.7, 295.9, 330.3, 469.7, 544.3 and 546.1 mm. The six nitrogen doses were: 0; 20; 40; 80; 160 and 320 kg per ha. Maximum dry matter yield 4,217 kg per ha was verified for the irrigation depth of 336 mm and for the nitrogen dose of 217 kg per ha. There was no interaction among the two independent variables for dry matter content, neutral detergent fiber, number of tillers per plant and rude protein levels. The rude protein levels content for the maximum economical dry matter yield was 17.6%. Neutral detergent fiber values obtained were lower than 55%. Considering irrigation depths, nitrogen levels and theirs prices, and forage prices it was calculated the maximum economical yield of 3,875 kg per ha of dry matter for the 280 mm of irrigation depth and 94 kg per ha of nitrogen, allowing a supply of R$147.21 per ha. The change marginal rate of water to nitrogen was calculate in 0.44 mm kg per ha.
