RESUMO

Vocal techniques have been used in speech therapy clinic with important results for rehabilitation, but few studies had as their aim to effectively verify its use and effect produced in voice and the larynx. The objective of this study is to check the immediate effect of the application of vocal techniques: lips and/or tongue vibrations, nasal sound and overarticulation. They announced of the study thirty-two women with normal and lightly altered voices, with average of age 28 years. Analysis were carried out perceptual-auditory, acoustics, laryngostroboscopic and auto-perceptive. With had result statically significant significant difference before and post applications of vocal techniques in the analysis perceptual-auditory of the vocal /Ɛ/ in the parameters global impression of the voice (p=0,006), hoarseness (p=0,028) and stability (p=0,003), in spontaneous speech in the parameter articulation (p=0,020), in the acoustic analysis in the parameters jitter percent (p=0,024), shimmer percent (p=0,021) and harmonic high (p=0,000) and in the Laryngostroboscopic examination evidenced a significant increase in the number of subjects that began to have complete glottic closing (p=0.045), a significant reduction of subjects with medium-posterior triangular gap (p=0.006) and a significant increase of subjects that improved muco-ondulatory movement of the vocal folds (p=0.006). Of the actperceptive repors subject 30 (93,7%) declared positive sensations regarding the voice or the larynx. As conclusion perceived that the realization of the vocal techniques improved significantly parameters analysis perceptual-auditory, acoustics, laryngostroboscopic with auto-perceptive sensations. These techniques can be used in getting vocal immediate improvement in women with normal voice to lightly altered.
