Ainda estamos vivos ! : estudo etnográfico da terceira idade na comunidade do Dendê

RESUMO

We are alive! As to we try to investigate, it inside etnographic approach, the possible aspects concerned to the environment that can interfere at the promotion of health of the elderly people brought them to the lack of identity and loneliness. The search was qualitative type and et was developped by an exploratory descritive study that gave real sense to the investigation and interpretation of the reality faced by the residents of Dendê Commynity, in Fortaleza Ceará Brasil, from the age of 60 to 96 years old. The investigation was divided in two parts: the first part was composed by a bibliographic search about the subject and the prepatatory interviews in order to identify the most adequante tellers to the scientific word. The second part was composed by the work in the field in order to verify how much the familiar, cultural, pshychological aspects can contribute to make better lifes quality for elders the instrumen6ts and the techniques used in order to colect the informations were semi-structured and unstructured interviews. For data analysis was guided by Spradley, cultural domain. The findings gave as information andunderstanding about the different aspects that can interfere at elders quality of life, so we knew the real necessity of the development of the social chain nets which are mainly familiar and religious in order the reintegration of the persons to their social life. Based on this research we try to suggest strategies of development of more adequated social politics to reintegrate the researched persons to their community and to the global society.
