RESUMO

This study has the objective to understand the meaning of work experience of adolescents who have committed ilegal acts and investigate which influence this experience may have in these youngers lives and theirs familiar relations, besides trying to understand the Bolsa de Reinserção Juvenil meaning (District Government program that benefits adolescents who accomplish social-educative comittals according to pre-established rules) for these adolescents and their families. Based on a qualitative methodology, it was elaborated the case study of three adolescents who have been under social-educative comittals of Attended Freedom and work concomitantly. Individual and familiar interviews with the adolescents had been made, beyond the elaboration of the genograma for the family. The results indicate that the work is an important reintegrator element of this adolescent in a protection social net, however, brings an emptied meaning of sense in the way that the work is seen only as a form of occupation of the time: to work instead of making another thing, such as involving with justice. In this perspective, the work may be serving as an alternative (of escape) to the elaboration of the psychic suffering related to the adolescent ilegal act. And the Bolsa represents to the adolescents and their families a form to provide their basic necessities (feeding, housing, etc.) without being related to an investment in the adolescent professional qualification, what could contribute to a more efficient reinsertion in the society.
