Ações educativas na estimulação precoce : análise do desempenho das mães no cuidado diário com os filhos

RESUMO

This paper approaches the relevance of the family insertion as a helper in the treatment and as a facilitator at the neuronal psychomotor development in the assisted children at the Early Stimulation, using the routine of the daily activities as promoters of the childrens daily caring. It had the goal to identify - together with their mothers the factors which interferes in the caring of the children that have late neuronal psychomotor development; analyze the educational actions which can contribute for a better accompaniment and caring for the kids by their mothers. The subjects of this research were eight mothers of sons with late neuronal psychomotor development in treatment at the Early Stimulation Section of the Núcleo de Atenção Médica Integrada - NAMI, that is a Health Center which belonged to UNIFOR and Fortaleza and Ceará Reference Unit of Health. The data collection was produced by semi-structured interviews, daily comments, diary of field, writings and filmings during the twelve educational actions, which were realized weekly. The data organization was founded at the analysis content and had selected some information about the participant profile, the motherly relationship with these children, and the familiar environment which interfering at the children development. The analysis is established in the principles of The Apego Theory, Liberator Education/ Paulo Freire Methods of Education and the Daily Lifes Activities. The results show that these mothers were between 16 and 35 years old, they have a low economic level, they had study until middle or high school, none of them were working, four of them were living with their parents or with their mother-in- law, two of them had unemployed husbands. Firstly, four of them were in the process of establishing a genuine relationship with their children, and, the familiar environment was unquiet for three of them. As it concerns about the educational actions developed, seven of them participated actively, potentializing the therapeutic process of their children, the competence as a caretaker, creating attitude and behaviour changings, becoming multipliers of what they had learned. One of the mothers could not be present due to personal reasons during the two last weeks, which was characterized as a loss. It was stressed the importance to consider the environment factors - such as familiar, social, economic, cultural and physic - and its relation with the daily lifes activities as a producer of the lateness in these children psychomotor development.
