RESUMO

The starting point has used in the conception of this work is found a long time ago. It deals with a matter of a find that took place in the end of XIX century, when Euclydes da Cunha got into the Brazils northeast remote interior and faced an individual who has caused him such a strangeness the brave guy. The statement that the inlander is, above of all, a strong seems that has promoted, along the XX century, the construction of a myth in the world under an invulnerable condition. It was searched in this study his strength in the resilience, a concept which is originally brought from physics, which involves the capacity of a human being be submitted to adverse situations recovering its spirits and creative potential; yet, this person is able to use this for an obstacle overcoming at the same time in which he develops adaptability and protections tools. The current research had as objectives to seek for the constitution of resilience in the brave guy, and how its knowledge can advance the healthy advancement in the Brazils northeast remote interior. The social-historic approach has served as a qualitative analysis, showing the way and its semi-structured interview as an instrument of assessment, and the qualifying analysis used as a technique of the treatment of the known data. The results show that for every three studied groups community; patients of a health basic unit; and its own healthy team predominate in the constitution of resilience of a brave guy the cells of meaning dried industry speech which are; faith, family history and over generation legacy, reacting to the adversity, work, values and believes and social vulnerability. The imaginary visited by Euclydes da Cunha has been analyzed a hundred years after the launch of his piece of work Rebellion in the Backlands. It shows a conception of a non-mobile world, where the Brazilian northeastern appears moving freely from the complex net that produced its social representation about this world. These findings suggest that the resilience in the remote interior of Brazils northeast is learned as a condition standing around by the northeastern living with the dried weather in that region, where the positive adaptation is linked with a miserable context, prevailing a view of this natural consequence of the dried weather. In this way, subsist the survival notion to the precariousness of remote interior of Brazilian way of living as an expression of resilience of its inhabitants. Nevertheless, through the social-historic analysis done, it was considered, among other things, that the resilience of the Brazilian brave guy is a social-historic construction, ideologically learned with an effort to justify only one part of the reality. Based on this, it was considered that the resilience can be used to advance the healthy advancement of the Brazilian northeastern when observed some direction lines such as; the integration of the concept of social vulnerability to the resilience
