RESUMO

The Early Stimulation professional needs to reflect on the necessity and importance of promoting the effective participation of the mother in the care provided. Given the dependence of the baby, during its first months of life, culturally fits to the mother the function of caring and also the needs and demands of early childhood. But how the professionals in the Early Stimulation conceive the relationship between mother and baby? To what extent their practices and interventions include the Another one in the treatment? Oriented from the perspective of psychoanalysis, we investigated concepts and practices of Early Stimulation professional and the place they assign the mother-baby relationship in professional intervention. The instruments used in the study, interview and auxiliar text, were based on the IRDI protocol, which is able to predict psychic risk for the constitution of subjectivity. The data were analyzed by the building of meaning and sense core. The participants were 17 teachers from the Education Department in the Federal District - Brazil, who work with babies aged between zero and 18 months, in Early Stimulation Program. The results indicate that professionals who adopt models of intervention for children and its diagnosis performance an orthopedic fulfillment of the infant-care practices, while professionals who adopt a concept and a practice focused on mother-baby relationship are able to observe the IRDI protocol indicators and to exercise the maternal and/or paternal functions in attendance. So the big bet made, to defend the mother-baby relationship as the focus of intervention, is that, through this structure, the professional would not only give instrumental-functional support capable of meeting the needs of the child, but also support the operations of the constitution of subjectivity. In perspective of the relationship between the subject that constitutes and the body that develops, we propose a reordering of concepts and practices about the Early Stimulation. Moreover, relying on the psychoanalytic concept of subject and making use of IRDI protocol, the Early Education Program in the Federal District - Brazil, as a space that occupies the early childhood, eventually could use medical devices able to detect and forward in time, children in psychic risk.
