RESUMO: O trabalho articula, a partir da teoria psicanalítica, as possíveis questões implicadas na prática de escarificações realizada por três adolescentes do sexo feminino. Nesse sentido, dois aspectos serão norteadores: a relação mãe e filha, e questões relativas à sexualidade feminina. Além disso, serão feitas articulações da prática das escarificações com o conceito psicanalítico de “pulsão de morte”.Abstract: The present paper discusses the practice of scarification performed by three female teenagers. This experience, and its issues, will be articulated to a psychoanalytic background. Thus, two aspects will be guiding: the relationship "mother and daughter" and the matters linked to the feminine sexuality. Furthermore, articulations of the practice of scarification will be made with the psychoanalytic concept of "death drive".
