RESUMO

This work presents a new topology for grid connected photovoltaic generation systems. This new topology adds functionalities in such a way that the photovoltaic system also improves the power quality. General aspects about photovoltaic generation systems are presented and two important maximum power point tracking methods (Perturb and Observe and Incremental Conductance ) are studied. A methodology for parameters de_nition of the Incremental Conductance method is proposed. Two theories to obtain current and voltage compensation signals are discussed: the theory of instantaneous power and the theory based on dq synchronous reference frame. The complete mathematical model of the system is developed in dq frame for the system control design. Experimental and simulation results of the system are presented and discussed
