RESUMO

The objective of this study is to reflect on how Paulo Freire s first collection ofbooks is a form of communication and demonstrate that the high lights and the notes on the margins and papers made by this great educator document the creative process and the reassessment ofhis conjectures, when structuring his first manuscript, Education and Brazil s Current Outlook. Therefore, the research will be based on the findings of essays on Genetic Criticism that regard the conceptual process in the broadest of forms, be it artistically or scientifically, along with the theory of creation based on peircian semiotics developed by Cecília Almeida Salles. Identifying Paulo Freire s creative process as that of a Transfonnational Action - one of the five fonns introduced by Ms. Salles in hel book Unfinished Gesture. This focus places Freire s creative process within a complex network of inferences, and highlights the contexture and types of the ties of this particular transformation process
