RESUMO: Este trabalho pretende demonstrar que, em Freud, a interpretação se configura como um ato criador de realidades. Em nosso percurso, partimos do exame das políticas da representação no mundo antigo para, em seguida, apontarmos as divergências entre o estatuto da interpretação em Freud e em Artemidoro. Ao final, nos interessa destacar que a interpretação analítica não descortina, mas funda, retroativamente, o passado.Abstract: This paper intends to demonstrate that, on the psychoanalytic field, the interpretation is itself an act of creation. Starting from the analysis of the Ancient World’s representation politiques, latter on we highlight some of the differences between the use of the interpretation in Freud and in Artemidorus. As we demonstrate in the end of this paper, the psychoanalytic interpretation doesn’t reveal the past but establishes it retroactively.
