A inserção da Universidade de Ijui no campo da saude : Projetos e perspectivas

RESUMO

This study investigates the insertion of the University of Ijuí (UNlJUI) in the field ofhealth. The study was elaborated from two main concerns: (1) to reconstruct the trajectory ofthat insertion mainly through the Department of Health Sciencies, through the identification of its action projects and (2) to verify some future perspectives regarding the construction of alternatives in order to face identified problems. For the development ot the study three systematization strategies (levels) of the empirical sources and the resulting collected information were utilized. The first levei corresponded to the identification and organization of the material; in it the chaotic universe of the primary sources was minimally ordered. The second levei consisted of the gathering of the information obtained previously. Such information was clustered in three large groups which constituted the categories of analysis. In this moment, besides the information derived from de primary sources, the actors which participated in the process were intervtewed. Finally, the third levei corresponded to the clustering of the trajectory of the Department of Health Sciences in four periods that indicate moments of emergence and rupture of determinad types af practices. From the theoretical point of wiew the study referred to five important conceptual elements: the perspective of the concrete wholeness dialectic; the question concerning the construction of political subjects; the concept of institution; the main theoretical debates in the area ofhealth and their implication in the definition ofprojects for the sanitary field. The questions considered in the fmal discussion of the study took into account the problem of re-elaborating the theoretical matrices of the Department of Health Sciences, the construction of political subjects and the question çoncerning the increase of the field of health at UNlJUI
