A identidade institucional da Puc-Campinas : estudo dos projetos pedagogicos (1968-1981)

RESUMO

This work present the historical arguments of a higher educational institution "Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas" (PUCC) during the period from 1968 to 1981. The objective of the study was the production of a working up of the knowledge based into a pedagogical project during the second semester 1981, in view of a identification to rather a educational project definition about the Institution as a field of this research. In order to gather the data necessary to the history of the university the principal sources consulted were the institutional records, personal feelings and newspapers by Campinas city. Also, the personal commentaries of take parts in the Institution while the contribution time. On the part of the actions by the University administration, the study make clear the receptivity of the educational project development for higher education by the side of the military regiments, clearing the increase of the Institution so far as on the physical as the academic growth, which gave rise to a serious institutional situation. The academic community motions are subject of a discussion about a end result in view of the changes needed to the democratization of the University, so as also the new directives of the Catolic Church in Latin America for those educational institutions. The pedagogical projects elaborated by the University s community in order to preserve the insitution s identify were analyzed treat with care and showed in this work. The analyze of the contents was based under the project conception of the Latin American Planning Committee (ELAP). The pedagogical projects of the university PUC-Campinas contained a political compromise and support the academic work, the university s community participation and the legimitation of a new proposal for the institution.
