A gramaticalização de verbos em partículas na língua Guajá e sua relação com a omnipredicatividade

RESUMO
Resumo Neste artigo, pretendo mostrar que, apesar da grande inconsistência em termos formais e da heterogeneidade em termos funcionais que caracteriza a descrição da classe das partículas em diferentes trabalhos, no caso do Guajá é possível se diferenciar as partículas das demais classes de palavras existentes na língua, assim como também atribuir a origem de algumas delas a diferentes processos de gramaticalização a partir de verbos plenos. Serão aqui enfocadas as partículas direcionais e posicionais e a partícula de aspecto projetivo da língua Guajá, sendo explicitada sua origem e relacionados os fenômenos analisados à perda versus manutenção da tipologia omnipredicativa da língua.Abstract In this article, I intend to show that, despite the great inconsistency in formal terms and heterogeneity in functional terms that characterizes description of particle class by different authors, in Guajá particles can be differentiated from other classes of words in this language, and that the origin of some of these particles can be attributed to different processes of grammaticalization from lexical verbs. Here we focus on the directional and positional particles and the projective aspectual particle in the Guajá language, explaining its origin and relating the analyzed phenomena to the loss/maintenance of the omnipredicative typology of the language.
