A formação inicial de professores para a educação de jovens e adultos: os dizeres dos coordenadores dos cursos de licenciatura / The teachers? initial formation on the Education of young people and adults

RESUMO

This Dissertation, linked to the research area of Processes and Pedagogical-Didactics Methods, from the Post-Graduation Program in Education, Mastering in Education, from Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB), and, having as focus the teachers‟ initial formation on the education of young people and adults, presents a research done with the objective of comprehending, through the sayings of coordinators, how the studies in Adult Education are approached in the majors of the Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB). The research, of qualitative kind, has as data record the semi-structured interview, which was done with ten coordinators from the majors of FURB. To analyze the data, the bibliographical reference,mainly, were the ideas of Knowles et al. (2009), about Andragogy, Nóvoa (2010, 2009, 2008b, 2008a, 2003), about teachers‟ formation, and Soares (2010, 2008, 2006, 2005, 2002) about the Education of young people and adults, and also seminars, reports of Adult Education meetings, blogs and official documents, to mention: laws and judgements. The sayings of the coordinators made explicit that, in relation to the studies of Adult Education: these are informally approached in the subjects present in the articulated axle of Licence Academic Degree; there is the accomplishment of a training in Adult Education. It was also mentioned the permanent character given today to Adult Education that deserves to be thought in the Licentiate Majors, and it was also mentioned the concern with those who will educate the teacher, when they manifested the possibility of including a specific subject on Adult Education in the curriculum of Majors. In this way, we think the University as the space that generates and spreads the scientific knowledge, that stimulates thinking and tries to prepare students for the new challenges of the contemporaneous reality, aiming at attending the academics‟ needs and the society in which they are inserted
