RESUMO

This paper is a result of a local research that was done close to the teachers of the medium teaching of the Três Lagoas city , Mato Grosso do Sul State, to the organizing teachers of the vestibular s list of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul and the schools studentes of the Letters, Pedagogy, History, Administration and law of this university, Campus of Três Lagoas. The central theoretical conception of those reflections is the that the triad author, work and public are solidary elements in the constitution of the literary system, because whenever one of them suffers alterations, they modify the others. Thus, the reading indication for the vestibular exam is an act that can interfere in the triad, above all in the public s formation, with direct consequences in the reader s formation. The objective of this research is to verify that reader type the mediation of the list of vestibular exam of summer of UFMS 2006 and the school formed. For that, we tried to know of the students that they think on reading and which went to perception of them regarding the school mediation and of the reading of the books of the list. We also questioned the notion of the teachers canon involved in the indication of the books and of the educational ones responsible for their use in class room. The interviewees answers indicate that it was established, through imposition of the list and school mediation, a reading immediate and utilitarian.
