RESUMO
This work has as main objective to raise up the original debate of Ignácio Rangel Rangel used the theoretical approach of Marx, Schumpeter and Kondratiev to explain the Brazilian social and economic reality. One of the results of Rangel s analysis is the introduction of "basic duality" concept through economic cycles, which was able to prove that the Brazilian industrialization in the twenthieth century worsened the problem between rural and urban sector
