A dinamica de desenvolvimento e o processo de desmemorização nas cidades do Vale do Itajai: estudo de caso Timbó e Pomerode/SC

RESUMO
This study aims to investigate the dynamics of urban regional development and the process of desmemorizing in the cities of Timbó and Pomerode, in Santa Catarina, through the lost of its built patrimony. To reach this objective, it tries to search the enclosure and the diversity of the architectural patrimony of the Médio Vale do Itajaí; analyzing and identifying the predominance of this set; identifying the impacts of the predominant standard of development on the existing quantity; searching the governmental actions for preserving the existing architectural patrimony; investigating why, although the importance of the maintenance of the architectural patrimony, the cities do not bet in only one integrated politics and identifying the strategies to integrate the dynamic architectural in the development of the region. More specifically, it aims to inform the citizens the importance of the preservation of the historical buildings, fomenting the process of patrimonial education, as well as subsidizing the works developed in the City halls of Timbó and Pomerode and the Projeto Roteiros Nacionais de Imigração em Santa Catarina IPHAN/SC, trying for to integrate it the dynamic of development of the cities of the Médio Vale do Itajaí. In this way, this study is a tool for implementation of public politics of integrated development, in the field of built patrimony. As the present study fits in social sciences it was used for its accomplishment a qualitative approach, diveded in three stages: bibliographical research, documentary and interviews; aiming at the agreement of the fragile condition of the patrimony architectural in the Vale do Itajaí in general, and in the cities of Timbó and Pomerode in particular. The results of the research show that the preservation of the architectural patrimony is a parameter in the balance between public politics of support and affective valuation on the part of theowners. It was identified that the valuation of the cultural goods allied to the public politics of conservation and preservation, will bring as consequence the minimization of the desmemorizing effect in the cities
