A astronomia presente nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental das escolas municipais de Londrina

RESUMO

In this work, we investigate the contents of Astronomy that had been gifts in the initial series (first and second cycles) of Fundamental Teaching of some Municipal Schools of Londrina, during the year of 2006. The analysis materials had been the Books of Call - where the teachers register the contents given in each lesson. The used methodology consisted of a qualitative research (BOGDAN and BIKLEN, 1991) and documents of content analysis (BARDIN, 2001) had been the Books of Call 2006 - Content. The gotten data had been compared with the contents of Astronomy, indicated for official documents, used for the searched universe: the Pedagogical Proposal of the City of Londrina, and Didactic Books used by the teachers. The analysis of Books of Call supplied a mapping about how it walks the teaching of Astronomy in the initial series of Fundamental Teaching. In terms of content revealed facts pleasantly unexpected, out of perspective, disclosed in the literature on the subject, pointing to the existence of gaps in the formation of teachers in content of Astronomy (LANGHY, 2004), leading them to "jump" such content. We conclude that, despite the problematic one faced by the teachers, about the content of Astronomy (bad formation, lack of material for practical lessons, lacks of good references, etc (PUZZO, 2005; LIMA, 2006)), the given contents go very beyond those suggested in the Pedagogical Proposal of the City of Londrina, going, also, beyond the contents of Didactic Books used as support, for the preparation of its lessons. Complementing our research, we take the deposition of one of the Pedagogical Technician Assessors of the Secretariat of Education of the City of Londrina, responsible for the elaboration of the Proposal of the area of Sciences, and three professors, participants of the research, concluding that the main influences, among others, that they had led to this result, can be on to the training of the teachers in Astronomy for the Secretariat, that in turn, has had a great intermeshing with the Laboratory of Astrophysics and Teaches of Astronomy of the State University of Londrina and the relation of the teacher with the boarded content.
