1. Paciente idoso, fumante e com tuberculose tratada há um ano. Laudo do último exame de Raio-X “massa tumoral na base do pulmão esquerdo”. Qual a melhor indicação para a tomografia de pulmão? Com ou sem contraste?
Não existem estudos comparando o uso de contraste em tomografias de tórax para diagnóstico de massas pulmonares. Essa diferenciação parece ser útil em nódulos pulmonares solitários, menores que 3cm de diâmetro, em que o uso de contraste pode predizer uma lesão benigna com alta sensibilidade (1).
