2. In-the-bag toric intraocular lens implantation in the case of an anterior capsule tear: a case series
O astigmatismo pré-o

4. Prevalence of corneal astigmatism in cataract surgery candidates at a public hospital in Brazil

5. Desmascarando o queratocone: efeito do epitélio corneano no queratocone

6. Relationship between the biomechanical properties of the cornea and anterior segment measurements
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the relationship of biomechanical properties, corneal hysteresis and corneal resistance factor with age, sex and various corneal parameters measured with a Pentacam in normal subjects. METHODS: A total of 226 eyes from 113 patients were enrolled in this study. The subjects underwent Ocular Response Analyzer and Pentacam evaluations.

7. Indications and visual outcomes of intrastromal corneal ring segment implantation in a large patient series
OBJECTIVES: To describe the indications for and visual outcomes of intrastromal corneal ring segment implantation. METHODS: A large retrospective case-series chart-review study was conducted using Sorocaba Ophthalmological Hospital medical records. This study included 1222 eyes (1196 patients) that were surgically treated between November 2009 and December

9. Evaluation of machine learning classifiers in keratoconus detection from orbscan II examinations
PURPOSE: To evaluate the performance of support vector machine, multi-layer perceptron and radial basis function neural network as auxiliary tools to identify keratoconus from Orbscan II maps. METHODS: A total of 318 maps were selected and classified into four categories: normal (n = 172), astigmatism (n = 89), keratoconus (n = 46) and photorefractive kerate

10. THE USE OF CYANOACRYLATE ADHESIVE FOR FIXATION OF CORNEAL AUTO E ALOIMPLANTS PRESERVED IN 98% GLYCERIN IN THE PENETRATING KERATOPLASTY IN RABBITS / USO DE ADESIVO DE CIANOACRILATO PARA A FIXAÇÃO DE BOTÃO CORNEAL AUTÓGENO OU ALÓGENO CONSERVADO EM GLICERINA A 98% NA CERATOPLASTIA PENETRANTE EM COELHOS.
The present research had the objective to evaluate the use of an n-butil cyanoacrylate in the fixation and maintenance of corneal autografts and aloimplants in the penetrating keratoplasty. There were used eight adult rabbits divided in two groups: the group I adhesive (GI 4 animals) and group II suture (GII 4 animals). In the GI, performed in the left eye,
