Um sistema de auxÃlio na localizaÃÃo de etiquetas RFID em ambientes internos

RESUMO
This dissertation proposes a location assistance system of RFID tags in indoor environments. The system is built over the LANDMARC location system and provides two estimatives from bounded area in which is the tracking tag. The first estimative is obtained by performing a mapping taking into account information provided by the LANDMARC. The second estimative is obtained by performing a mapping taking into account information provided by a new algorithm also proposed in this dissertation. The second estimative is used always the information provided with basis on execution of LANDMARC is erroneous. The LANDMARC and the proposed system were evaluated through simulations with the MATLAB support. The evaluation was consider the typical inconstancy of radio-frequency signal strengths with and without obstacles. The results demonstrate that the proposed system improves the location efficiency up 46% in relation to the LANDMARC system
