RESUMO

Nowadays, the raised complexity that characterizes the enterprise environment, followed by an increasing necessity of high levels of performance, demands the use of more sophisticated strategies. For this reason, the measurement of performance appears as main allied in the management process, with the perception that the performance is, in part, result of taken decisions. Among the different models for the performance measuring available in literature, an identified vulnerability is the linear relation between its components, which normally does not reflect the interaction with the changeable environment where the organization is inserted. The use of the fuzzy logic was considered a feasible mechanism to compensate this linearity, disclosing the priorities that organization needs to focus in the environments where it acts. In this context, the present study intended to develop a model of logistic performance measurement supported for the fuzzy logic, in order to work as an efficient support to decision taken. To guide the empiric part of this study, the technique chosen was the design research. The company selected for the application of the model was the MWM International Indústria de Motores do Sul Ltda. The new conceptual model Model of Logistic Measurement was structured as a matrix, containing three columns with the macro logistics processes (source, make, deliver) and seven lines, including the five levels suggested by the SCC (2005) assets, costs, reliability, responsiveness and flexibility adding two new dimensions: satisfaction and technology. The elements analyzed were submitted to the model of strategic alignment proposed by Espín and Vanti (2005), which resulted a ranking by importance degree. To offer a board of metrics, that shows how the organization is reacting to its strategy, and applying to this model a logic which is similar to the human thought, can be mechanisms which works, actually, as a support to define the course of the organizations
