RESUMO

This postgraduate essay had as main objective to analyze, by case study, the interpretation done by teachers, students and managers of a Distrito Federals secondary public school about the proposal of the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o Ensino Médio (PCNEM) and the respective preparing for the labors world. The PCNEM are understood as an educational social policy which was prepared to accomplish the guidance and national directives that are in Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional LDB, law 9,394/96, and the Plano Nacional de Educação, law 10,172/01. The essay focuses on understanding in a critical way how the relationship of education, citzenhood and the labors world, by using national models and their interpretation relationed with a public schools reality in the presence of the change of Fords productive model to the flexible accumulation. The assumption is that the PCNEM reproduce a proposal in the scholar curriculum that limit the possibilities of the knowledge overcome as a merchandise. The methodological approach used is a qualitative case study type. The applied technique was based on interviews with managers, teachers and students. The collect involved two managers, six teachers and four students. First, the documental analysis of the PCNEM was done. There was found a result which is in consonance with the possibilities of an education applied only to the formation of an insecure workforce for the flexible accumulations system.
