RESUMO

This thesis reflects on the psychologists practice in Brazil, in different areas in which they act professionally. This study originates from the interest in knowing the ethical-political dimension of the psychological-social interventions, in socially excluded areas. The actors of this research presented this study in an event, in the year 2000, as answer to the invitation of the Federal Council of Psychology, to show their practices with social commitment. There are many discussions in the area of the psychology, which are resultants of the social disparity that desolates the country. The research is justified for the demands of the new professional postures, and for new practice models to solve the needs of the society. The target of this research is to investigate the invention in the theoretical constructions and in the work processes, through the effects of those practices, and if the psychologists are setting up a transformer practice. The analysis is guided by the ideas of Deleuze and Guattari. It is to accompany the movement of the escape lines and to accompany the movement of the capture lines, which constitute a cartography of the practices with the escape lines, small inventions are visualized that point way out to benefit the life. The capture lines reflect the reproductions movement of that is stagnated. The social commitment is to discover the connections that the escape lines establish to free the people of all that the present buried to favour the changes. The results review the model of the individualized practice, which is restricted to the Brazilian elite, in private clinics. The psychologists look for different segments of the society, but the psycho-social intervention needs to move forward in the articulation theory and practice, and in the integration between the exterior and inner aspects of the individual, and in the definition of psychological indicators to contribute in different and interdisciplinary teams of work. The psychologists present new and creative devices to catalyze the practices
