RESUMO

This study has the finality to get an altemative angiographyc method diagnostico That can be utilized m patients with high risk for the use of iodme with medium of contrast, being the two most complications a renal insufficiency and an allergic reaction 26 patients were studied that showed renal insufficiency chronic, and they were submitted to the dialysis therapy through arteriovenous fistulas - 38% males and 62% females with age between [Ana Silvil]36 and 74 years oldo Their fistulas had been studied because they didn t present a good efficiency during the dialysis, -81 % were arms and 19% legs- o This study was realized at the same time, m which the patients were submitted to the selective digital angiography with subtraction image. In the mst stage we utilized the iodme as a medium of contrast, and m the second stage we utilized the carbonic gas as a medium of contrasto After obtamment of angiographyc film, two doctors mdependent of these studies reaIized the analysis [Ana Silvi2]comparative of two methods applymg 3 parameters, opacification, radiological diagnosis and analysis of vessel diameter. They were also analysed by the author of the other two parameters study, comparative analysis of measure of artery and with vem reaIized with iodme and carbonic gas of as a medium of contrast; and respiratory ftequency before and after contrast mjection. With this data given it was conclude, that this method is an alternative m angiographyc study in patients with antecedents allergic or nephrotoxicity risk
