RESUMO

A significant portion of the electric power consumed at the country it is attributed to the residential sector corresponding to 24% the national demand, the systems of heating water passage and accumulation, predominantly electric, are responsible for about 6% the national consumption, that have been provoking serious problems of supply in the sectors industrial, commercial and essential services, mainly due to the concentration in the schedule of tip. The present study has as objective presents a technician-economical comparative analysis of equipments residential water of heating that use electric power and combustible gas. In that way it is looked for to analyze the use the gas (NG or LPG) as possible energy altenative in residential equipments, comparing them traditionally with electric equipments used. With the worsening of the Brazilian electric sectors in the last years and with the increase of the offer the combustible gas through several sources, saw himself the need cultural dissemination of the use the energy in systems of heating water in the residential sector, avoiding with that leaves that energy after having processed it is wasted, reinserted or burned
